Everything went well today at my home with the layout tours. Mary and I were very pleased and everyone was so nice and complimentary.
The weather was rather cool and that sure did help with the basement humidity. Actually, I was pleased as the trains ran without fault and I could stand round and have conversation with everyone. I received a very nice email from Gale Hall today and he was regretful of not being able to make the convention. (Me too, Gale, we'll miss you!) (Gale has a new home complications.) We're now shut down for Wednesday visitations, but are looking for all of you that called are coming down tomorrow. [Thursday] Mary and I will join you all Friday at the Radisson. One other thing I wanted to mention was that I lucked out and Larry Shughart collected up all my magazines for his home library in Jacksonville, Florida. The collection is was all S Gaugian's and NASG Dispatches' from the beginning and also the 3/16th Rail Magazines. I feel fortunate as Larry has a very large train room and I know he keeps everything safe and neat. This came about as I went to reference something a visitor mentioned today and all was gone! Tsk! Tsk! Boy, I'll surely miss them. "S"ee Ya, Bill (Fraley)
