http://www.smokymountainmodelworks.com/S_scale_kits.html The underframe is done (has been done for a couple months); the body is down to a few puttying spots before application of the primer, puttying any missed spots, another primer coat, application of the middle raised panel, walkway supports and Archer rivets. Due to an unprecedented deluge of industrial casting work that started about 6 weeks ago and will run at least another 4 weeks, I've not had time to finish the roof. Another notice with an updated photo will be sent out when the pilot model is done (painted, decaled and weathered). I am no longer accepting mail orders for this kit. Greg Komar, my decal source, has shut down printing as of 8/1/2013 and I've received enough decals to honor last-minute buyers plus a few spares that I'm keeping for a future project. There is speculation that some of Greg's artwork will be bought by a current printer but nothing has been announced yet.
