The first memory I have of a club layout was from when I was about 5. It
took 25+ years to find out where it was until I went there again. It was the
Cherry Valley O Scale club in Merchantville NJ. I had massive Déjà Vu when I
finally did find it.

 

I found it because a friend that was a long time O Scaler was giving S a
try. We went to the club on a work night.

 

When it is open to the public they have glass/Plexiglas panels about 24”
high completely around the edges. Bill said one open house a guy came in
with a young boy. Bill saw the boy being held by his belt and shirt collar
almost upside down OVER the glass so he could touch  the trains as the went
by below him! Bill had some words and snatched the guy up on out the door
they went!

 

OH the nerve of it all! (:->)
