Some financial tips you might think about if planning on attending a
convention:
1. Make it your vacation, if in area you're interested in.
2. Get a table or two and sell off excess inventory - we all have that.
3. Go in a camper or RV
4. If spouse isn't going, room share and ride share. Save on room and gas
5. If you're with a club, sometimes conventions or meets will pay for gas
and registration or ?? if you help bring a display layout.
6. I always start a change collection in a big jug after each convention
and save until the next. This year was $60, last year over a $100.
7. Can you stay with family or friends in the convention area?
8. Money from non-S articles could be stashed away for convention.

Sure, I know work (doggone it), family, health issues and summer vacations
get in the way, but maybe some of the above might help out. The more S
folks I see personally at the conventions or meets, the happier I am just
to "meet and greet."
