Hi all ---
Now that the big push for the convention is over and it has been raining all
day, I looked around for something to do in the trainroom that wouldn’t be too
involved. I decided it was FINALLY time to finish wiring the industrial yard.
Simple enough, just tie in a couple of leads from that section of track and
I’m done. Not so fast, old man! I think I had every tool off the work
table, went through every box that might have the electrical part I wanted
(SPST switch), broke a drill, bent untold spikes after gluing more ties, on and
on! What I thought would be a 30 minute project turned into several hours,
but it all works now, so I can move forward with the scenery in that area when
I feel like it, finishing up the buildings, putting in the roads, building the
coal trestle, and lastly, putting up the last of the backdrop. At least now
visitors can play in the yard ...
Have fun!
