Hi
apologies for digging up an old thread, but I am wondering if anyone has a plan or diagram of the 40' Mather boxcar, the one with the low internal height (thing they ranged from 7'8" to 8'5" IH.

Hi Jace --
SHS did offer one of the Ball Line (Muncie & Western) cars in their rebuilt
steel sheathed cars that was just about dead nuts on for a car done in 1957
or 58. It had only two flaws: the door tack board was in the wrong place
and the reporting marks were MWP instead of MWR. I don’t recall a single
sheathed car from them done in MWR. I have a set of decals for the single
sheathed car and thought I would put the Ball Jar image on the door on my
steel car, but that would have been incorrect, as I have the photo of the
actual car that SHS used to make theirs.

Have I noticed SHS offered one of their USRA single-sheaths in a Ball Line
scheme?
That would gratify most of the market except for the rivet-counters.
