Mike,
That is one beautiful model! I especially like the treatment of the
bell and the coloring of the smoke box--nice and silvery without being
too bright; like a hubcap. I also think this is the first time I've
seen a weather cover for the stack--does it close?

Hi everyone,
Mopac 1414 in S scale is finally out of the paint shop. So I uploaded
some pictures I took out side. All the electronics are installed and
working up to the standard I hoped that they would. The sound is sharp
and loud. The weathering is done under natural light because when I
build the next layout I will be using that kind of lighting system.
The subtle color differences are hard to show in the pictures but they
stand out under the proper lighting.
The loco runs as good as any of my factory brass if not better and
because of the gearing and weight of the loco I think she could pull
my Denali up the driveway. One of the places I want to take it is the
post office to get weighted.
I now am faced with how to transport her to the first railroad meet
with out damage. Yes, if you are wondering about white gloves.
