Hi guys. I've head my head deep into other stuff lately so to catch up:
1. Kudos to Brooks and Mike for their loco building efforts. IMHO building locos, especially scratch building, is the highest form of achievement in our hobby. 2. I enjoyed the August promotional Dispatch. When we visited Scottsdale AZ last year, Bill Winans (thanks Bill) took me around to see Nelson Steinmetz's fine layout. I enjoyed Nelson's hospitality, and it's fun to see his layout in that issue. 3. FNF...I've been spending Fridays and other nights making some scenery upgrades to my home layout...particularly my Port Dover and Culverhouse modules that have now been retired from the show circuit. I will be hosting some S-scalers in a few week's time when I put on my annual CanAm Socia,l so I'd like to get some more work accomplished before then. Rather than post any photos here, I'll simply direct those who are interested to the Workshop blog below. --- > <http://sscaleworkshop.blogspot.ca/2013/10/modelling-sideways-and-backwards-with.html> > Cheers, Jim Martin
