The New Haven and Derby Model Railroad Club, Inc. (an affiliate of The Orange Historical Society) will be holding it’s 21st annual model train show on Sunday October 13, 2013 from 9:30AM–3:30PM at High Plains Community Center 525 Orange Center Road (route 152) in Orange, CT. It is handicap accessible and has plenty of free parking.
All Scales and eras will be represented with between 90-100 vendor tables featuring locomotives, rolling stock, books, accessories, clothing, scenery, buildings and railroad memorabilia. The Valley “HO” Railroad Club, and the Connecticut “G” Scale Railroad Club will have their modular operating layouts set up for viewing and their members will gladly answer any questions you may have. In addition we will have smaller kid friendly “S” Gauge and “T” track layouts. There will be door prizes every hour and a dining car to satisfy your hunger. All in all there will be something for every member of the family.
