Well,...just spent the last couple of hours trying to get my Bachmann On30 Christmas set to work!! After using one of my old Marx floodlights to test the transformer, then the track,.. finally figured out when I placed the loco on the track it tripped the circuit breaker in the trannie... must be a short in the loco!! Train store MAY be open tomorrow, holiday and all. They have other sets there. Still a bummer, almost ruined my "Sopranos"!! I sure like the loco and tender,...for me, that's all I would need in a "S" loco, well, a smoke unit would be nice! But for $150.00,...I think it is a nice looking set! Now,..if it would only run!! :-( Yeah, yeah,..ya get what ya pay for! But Bachmann has a limited lifetime warranty. Not bad.
