Twas the night before Christmas when my daughter visited us and gave me the most thoughtful gift. She went on Ebay and found an excellent condition, in box, 629 Missouri Pacific Stock Car. Of the hundreds of Flyer items I did not have that one.
My wife blessed me with two S-Helper Service 3 Bay PS-2, Reading Hopper cars. Two boxes came to her from S- Helper and she thought the hoppers were sent seperately so imagine my surprise when the first box I opened contained hundreds of rail joiners meant for someone else. I hope they got their trains running since I got their rail joiners by mistake. My first Flyer as you may remember was set 5004 with a 342 AC. My uncle in 1952 had updated the set with brand new knuckle couplers. May you be blessed this holiday season.
