and I'm planning combine obnam

leave obnam behind but is has this excellent feature:

*Keep policy* (days, weeks, months, years), deletion of old versions

that make it possible to delete old backups in a very easy way: 
*--keep=14d,3m,1y*

Now I am reading the code of expire_backups.py
