I understand that s3ql can handle deduplication, compression, and encyption, but where/how is the deduplication data stored? Or in other words, if I lose my OS in which s3ql is installed, how will s3ql know what is deduplicated and what is not when I bring up a new installation and mount the s3 bucket?
Also, I am looking to use s3ql for storing VM backups which will have a lot of duplication. Any issue with storing large files of 150gb or larger? Thank you. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "s3ql" group.
