I installed s3ql on raspberri pi running ubuntu 14.04 (trusty)

why did it install s3ql v 1.16 instead of s3ql v 2.15 ?

I followed the instructions using distribution-specific installation
instructions <https://bitbucket.org/nikratio/s3ql/wiki/Installation>

I have python 3 installed, so I assumed it would install s3ql v 2.x

I also installed s3ql on a stock ubuntu server 14.04 and it installed s3ql
v2.15

I cannot mount a s3ql fs running s3ql v2.x using s3ql v1 or vice versa - I
get an encryption error

is there a way to install s3ql v2.x on top of a s3ql v1.x?

thankyou, Newman
