I made a upstart script to mount/unmount the bucket. The bucket is mounted and checked at boot time.
My environment is such that when main power fails, the server rushes to shutdown (UPS only hold for a couple of minutes) and by that time Internet connection is down. When there's internet connection, the bucket unmounts gracefully... When there's no connection unmount blocks. Is there a way to force unmount? Thanks. segunda-feira, 4 de Janeiro de 2016 às 23:52:11 UTC, Nikolaus Rath escreveu: > > On Jan 04 2016, Alexandre Gonçalves <[email protected] > <javascript:>> wrote: > > Hi, > > > > > > I used auto mounting with s3ql, but now I want to have the bucket > > permanently mounted. > > > > My server is behind NAT with Internet dynamic IP, what's the best way to > > keep the mount point ready to read/write, keeping the traffic low when > > idle, and dealing with IP changes and possible internet breakdown? > > Just mount it, nothing special required. > > > Best, > -Nikolaus > > (No Cc on replies please, I'm reading the list) > > -- > GPG encrypted emails preferred.
