Dear all, I am pleased to announce a new release of S3QL, version 2.16.
>From the changelog:
2016-02-23, S3QL 2.16
* S3QL now supports (and requires) Python-LLFUSE 0.43 or newer
(but not never than 1.0).
* S3QL now retries when receiving a "ServiceUnavailable" error from
an S3 (or compatible) backend.
* When retrying network requests, the back-off time now includes a
random factor to avoid accidentally flooding the server with too
many simultanuous requests.
* Fixed a problem with fsck.s3ql aborting with a "ConstraintError"
in some situations.
* Fixed a problem with fsck.s3ql repeatedly renaming a file in
/lost+found because it may lack data.
* In the authinfo2 file, storage urls for the local backend may now
be specified with a trailing slash.
As usual, the release is available for download from

Please report any bugs on the mailing list ([email protected]) or
the issue tracker (https://bitbucket.org/nikratio/s3ql/issues).
Starting with version 2.0, S3QL requires Python 3.3 or newer. For older
systems, the S3QL 1.x branch (which only requires Python 2.7) will
continue to be supported for the time being. However, development
concentrates on S3QL 2.x while the 1.x branch only receives selected
bugfixes. When possible, upgrading to S3QL 2.x is therefore strongly
recommended.
Best,
-Nikolaus
