Hello, This may not be the exact help, but it's worth every penny: I bought an SSL certificate just for this. $9/year is not too much, imho and you can use it later. It's not tied to any IP address. (I don't want to advertise here, google for it. Both the company and the product has an "o" at the second char in their name. The cert works well in Chrome (and lynx for terminal access).
