Hello Nikolaus,
We are using S3QL 1.18.1. Here AWS S3 is mounted using S3QL. We are receiving below error during fsck. # fsck.s3ql --authfile s3qlAuth.conf --cachedir /var/cache/s3/store/ s3://store Starting fsck of s3://store Using cached metadata. Remote metadata is outdated. Checking DB integrity... *** in database main *** On tree page 597600 cell 53: Rowid 601064 out of order (max larger than parent min of 0) Page 562090 is never used Page 562091 is never used Page 562092 is never used Page 562093 is never used Page 562094 is never used Page 562095 is never used Page 562096 is never used Page 562097 is never used Page 562098 is never used Page 562099 is never used Page 562100 is never used Page 562101 is never used Page 562102 is never used Page 562103 is never used Page 562104 is never used Page 562105 is never used Page 562106 is never used Page 562107 is never used Page 562108 is never used Local metadata is corrupted. Remove or repair the following files manually and re-run fsck: /var/cache/s3/store/s3:=2F=2Fstore.db (corrupted) /var/cache/s3/store/s3:=2F=2Fstore.param (intact) For above, I visited thread <https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/s3ql/IDqeIocHTgs> and found that the solution is to (re)move local-metadata. But if I remove the local metadata, we will loss data of last 24hrs, which is not accepted in our case. can you please suggest, 1. How can I recover from local-corrupted-meta-data ? 2. How can I prevent above situation? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "s3ql" group.
