I know this is going to sound strange, but is there anything technically blocking s3ql from using the boto3 SDK for its backend implementation (s3/s3c).
For s3ql to be considered an "enterprise" class solution by some customers, Amazon requires that solution to use their official SDK, i.e. boto3. I don't understand all the politics behind this but that is what I'm told. I'm just curious if this is a complete non-starter or could s3ql's backend implementation theoretically use boto3 calls instead of the low-level http based API directly? -aps -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "s3ql" group.
