OK thanks.. though not in the changelog this is mentioned in 
rst/installation.rst though I didn't look.

Does anybody have a recipe for installing a stable, compatible python 
environment on Centos 7 now that the documentation at 
https://bitbucket.org/nikratio/s3ql/wiki/installation_centos#!installing-s3ql-under-centos-7-64-bit
 
is obsolete?
