Hi Mike,

My python installations are rooted at

   /opt/python/

I installed s2ql with pip (php3 in my case).

The man pages are here:

   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/fsck.s3ql.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/mkfs.s3ql.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/mount.s3ql.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3ql_oauth_client.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3ql_verify.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qladm.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qlcp.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qlctrl.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qllock.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qlrm.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/s3qlstat.1
   /opt/python/3.9.2/share/man/man1/umount.s3ql.1

I symink everything in bin and man into /usr/local:

   /usr/local/bin/fsck.s3ql
   /usr/local/bin/mkfs.s3ql
   /usr/local/bin/mount.s3ql
   /usr/local/bin/s3ql_oauth_client
   /usr/local/bin/s3ql_verify
   /usr/local/bin/s3qladm
   /usr/local/bin/s3qlcp
   /usr/local/bin/s3qlctrl
   /usr/local/bin/s3qllock
   /usr/local/bin/s3qlrm
   /usr/local/bin/s3qlstat
   /usr/local/bin/umount.s3ql
   /usr/local/man/man1/fsck.s3ql.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/mkfs.s3ql.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/mount.s3ql.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3ql_oauth_client.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3ql_verify.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qladm.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qlcp.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qlctrl.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qllock.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qlrm.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/s3qlstat.1
   /usr/local/man/man1/umount.s3ql.1

... in case that helps.

Installed s3ql from source per instructions:

https://www.rath.org/s3ql-docs/installation.html

However, the ‘man’ pages are missing.  I tried some Google-Fu but couldn’t figure out how to manually add man pages for the appropriate s3ql* packages.

Can a guru assist?
