I'm very happy to hear all this positive feedback and support, but I think that we need to get more than just a handful of +1's going. We need to get patches going, new committers, new releases, etc. We are also missing a successful production use case, which apparently is not needed for graduation, but I would think it is quite important for a successful apache project.
If we start getting contributions in the form of patches, discussions, documentation, then we might be able to keep it going. Otherwise, I don't think we can have an apache project without a community. -Flavio > -----Original Message----- > From: Kurtt Lin [mailto:kurtt....@gmail.com] > Sent: 30 August 2013 13:23 > To: s4-dev@incubator.apache.org > Subject: Re: Board report due on 9/4 > > Hi Flavio, > > I am also a +1 to keep this project going. > I am currently working on a new active-standby feature for S4, and I would > also like to contribute to the elasticity feature on the list. > > > On Fri, Aug 30, 2013 at 6:29 AM, Renato Marroquín Mogrovejo < > rmarroq...@apache.org> wrote: > > > Hi all, > > > > I don't have that much time now, but I also think that this is an > > awesome project, and I'd like to put some time onto this on the future. > > If you need some help, I can chip in as well.
