All the recent spending that is taking place at the palace is in preparation for the coming King's birthday next Monday. This is where royal opulence is arrogantly displayed every year. The general poor public will be fed on some lousy meal while royalty and its hangers on will feast on very expensive food during the garden party where further opulence is displayed. As always, the poor tax-payer wil foot the bill for this party.This is a huge contrast to the poor life of the struggling masses country wide. HIV/AIDS, hunger, abject poverty, poor infrastructure, poor medical services and generally poor or non-existent service delivery has become the hallmark of the country under the arrogant and oppressive tinkhundla royal regime.
