Dear Comrades and FriendsPlease be advised of this new development in the political landscape of Swaziland. We would like to introduce to you the soon to be launched, Swaziland Peoples Liberation Movement, SPLM. The Swaziland Peoples Liberation Movement,SPLM is a radical and militant socialist Movement, fighting for the removal of the tinkhundla system of government and replacing it with a socialist multi party democracy. We subscribe and embrace social democracy.
The SPLM believes that His Majesty King Mswati will not freely relinquish power and allow for multi party democracy, it is therefore for this reason that we must apologetically fight to force for the process that will usher in a people centered, accountable and transparent multi party democratic rule in Swaziland to happen. The SPLM embraces all pillars of our struggle and shall employ all of them equally without fear or favour. Membership to the SPLM is open to all freedom and real peace loving Swazis and we are pleased with the response we are getting from across the 4 regions of Swaziland across all sectors of our society i.e. political parties, the church, civil society, business, youth and women's groups, trade unions and student formations. The SPLM aims to restore DIGNITY and RESPECT to our people (especially the poor in the rural areas and townships) and protect them from all forms of inhuman treatment and harm they have been subjected to by the tinkhundla regime. The time of treating our People with impunity and disdain by the regime through the police and the chiefs has come to an end. All perpetrators of this treatment on our people shall face the consequences. Ours is a revolutionary fight to protect and regain the confidence of our people especially at grassroots level to the struggle for political emancipation from the King's tinkhundla tyranny. We believe that no amount of insults, perennial infighting, endless workshops, purist & supremist ideological attitudes, statement etc shall remove tinkhundla but disciplined revolutionary decisive action against the regime shall bring political change to our beloved country. We shall be launching the Peoples Movement soon inside Swaziland where we shall present our Manifesto to the People. Join the SPLM today and rekindle the flames of our liberation fight to a new, democratic and prosperity filled Swaziland for all and not just the king, his family and cronies!!!.
