I've read the English version of the licence. Parts of it are not really
well written (difficult to understand) and others are weird. E.g. how
does someone ensures the ethics of the licencee? What is and what is not
harmful? How does this apply to a Hijri Islamic Calendar application!

You did right for non-free. I would have put it in non-free/utils though
(to be checked with the Debian policy).
I don't think I am going to sponsor the package. First, I don't have
time in the current context (I am currently in a traineeship which needs
all my attention).
Second, I am really not comfortable with this licence. While I can see
the author's will, I can't agree with it. That's a pity because the
software seems to be great. Licencing it under BSD would have been the
best, really: everyone can make one's choices and Allah yahdi man yasha.
It is not by forbidding the use of a software that one will prevent
harmful uses of this software...
