The idea after this project is to redirect the already existing wallpaper clock Screenlet ( http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Wallpaper+Clock +Screenlet?content=66717 ) to display the Hijri date it should be fairly simple to the developer! sadly I don't speak python! and it need a smooth design for it :) to display the day, month, year, and the moon phase in Islamic environment @ the users desktop :D, directions for making a theme is also simple (if the skill exists) http://www.vladstudio.com/wallpaperclock_create/ Please interested people step forward to this project...
