salam I have just modified umenu (the ubuntu cd menu) for Sabily distro you can find the source code on http://www.sohaibafifi.com/?9-the-sabily-wmenu-my-first-participation the new version accepts personalization without recompiling the source (you can find the configuration files and the images on the folder “wdata”).
