السلام عليكم، Well, seems that we'll need to redo *LOTS* of theme work:
1. Grub: probably we'll just drop the theme, since grub menu is not intended to appear unless user presses some key. That decision (of not making grub menu appear by default), was probably made to speed up booting of Ubuntu. 2. Boot splash: the usplash theme is working alright *so far* ! Yet, there is intention of having a new thing called xsplash, which works on top of X. Currently xsplash kicks in after usplash & before GDM, but Ubuntu intends to start xsplash even earlier to the point that they can replace usplash with xsplash. I don't find any info yet about making xsplash themes. 3.
