Monajat is being converted to Python, and its almost there. Actually probably we can release it now, as I still don't have an idea how to solve the remaining issue. Zekr is built with GCJ indeed, but I remember that there was an issue when it was run using GCJ's JRE. Anyways, the current zekr package depends on java2-runtime, which is provided by gcj-jre. So if a system has gcj-jre as the only installed JRE, then zekr will be installable on that system. I cannot comment about webstrict, maybe Mehdi has info about wether it is GCJ compatible or not. Anyways, since you've mentioned saving space, what is the space requirements of both OpenJDK JRE & GCJ JRE ?
