Assalamo alaykom,
1- I installed grub2-splashimages packages
2- I put the photo sent by brother Saber this night (sabily_gaza.tga) in
/usr/share/images/grub/
3- I edit /etc/grub.d/10_linux and I comment the following lines:
#if [ "x${GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR}" = "x" ] ; then
# OS=GNU/Linux
#else
# OS="${GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR}"
#fi
and I add the following one
OS="Sabily"
4- I edit /etc/grub.d/05_debian_theme and I modify this loop:
for i in {/boot/grub,/usr/share/images/desktop-base,/usr/share/images/grub}/
sabily_gaza.{png,tga} ; do
(added script in green, and modified one in red).
(I did not modified the lines of color, but if we decide to modify them here
the lines you should modify:
set color_normal=black/black
set color_highlight=magenta/black
)
5- I edit this file /etc/default/grub and I comment this line:
#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
6- Finally I run the following command: update-grub2
