I don't want to do neither of them for two reasons: 1. As far as I know, editing conf files or files installed by other packages is a really frowned upon behaviour in packaging. Yes, I have done it for a couple of packages (which never entered formal Ubuntu repositories), but I always seek a better way. 2. As for GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT, it was made for a good reason; which is to make booting faster. So I don't want to change this default behaviour. If a user wants to see the grub menu, he will have to change this GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT thing. -- أحمد المحمودي (Ahmed El-Mahmoudy) Digital design engineer GPG KeyID: 0xEDDDA1B7 (@ subkeys.pgp.net) GPG Fingerprint: 8206 A196 2084 7E6D 0DF8 B176 BC19 6A94 EDDD A1B7 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sabily.team Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sabily.team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
