1. You need to decide under which license you intend to distribute
your software
2. Get text of this license and put it in a file called LICENSE or
COPYRIGHT.
3. For each source file in your code, add a copyright header, this
header should contain the following:
copyright years,
copyright holders,
copyright notice
(some licenses like GPL for example tell you what to put as the
copyright notice)
You can have a look at other software, to get what I mean.
