[Sab] Expat & config

when I run the configure script (for Sablotron) - it cannot find Expat or its libraries:   checking for presence of Expat... no checking for main in -lxmltok... no checking for main in -lxmlparse... no   my  CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH variable points to the expat headers and Expat and Sablotron share the same directory (bin/Expat/...  and  bin/Sablot/...)   any tips?   thanks   Meredith
