Ok, i understand. I though selecting "/" would be selecting THE root
element. This was my reasoning.
There can be only one root element, and before root elements the only thing
that can exist is comments and processing instructions. Since we can't
manipulate (or can we?) those in XSLT, there is no sense in accessing the
stylesheet entire structure.
