To save you the trouble of generating one yourself, I've made
a patch from 0.36 -> 0.4 available at
  http://www.kitsite.com/robin/Sablot-0.40-patch.gz

I've removed the changes for INSTALL, because they appear to
be an erroneous reversion.

It's only 42k (compared with 160k for the full source)
and it makes informative reading if you want to know what's
changed.

Apply with
 gzip -dc Sablot-0.40-patch.gz | patch -p1
