I've missed installation of the binary distribution. People who prefer 
this way, have to copy files manually (simple makefile would be fine, I 
know :)

Do you mean, that installation should/could modify ld.so.conf? In this 
case: it *must not*. This is the subject of system administration, and 
must be controlled by root.
