Hi,
We have released Sablot as RPM finally, which could make things easier
for RedHat and some other Linux distribution users. The released package
works on RH 6.2 and 7.0 at the least. It installs files exactly the same
way as "make install" of the Sablot tarball.
As there is no RPM available for expat (as far as I know), rpm can't
recognize whether it is installed in your system and complains about a
missing requirement. Make sure it doesn't require anything else (rpm -i
Sablot-0.50-0.i386.rpm ) and then install using
rpm -i --nodeps Sablot-0.50-0.i386.rpm
to suppress this behavior.
I would like to ask, whether someone still prefers the current linux
binary, or we can replace it with the RPM/DEB packages.
Regards,
Petr
