Kevin,
you're right, strip-space and preserve-space are still unsupported.
However, these only apply to source documents, where no whitespace
stripping is performed at the moment (if I'm not mistaken). So I guess
that what you really want is HTML indentation. I agree that's badly
needed. We'll try to add it soon.
