Has anyone had success compiling .51 on Mandrake 8.0 (cooker) which uses
gcc 2.96?
Could gingerall please post instructions for anonymous read access to
their CVS?
I have compiled .51 on Mandrake 7.2, pretty effortlessly. Unfortunately,
on 8.0 the config script can't find expat. I've tried numerous variations
of installing expat from RPM, compiling it from source, setting CPP_FLAGS,
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Expat, PHP, etc compiles fine. The expat RPM which puts
stuff in /usr doesn't work. Expat from source that gets put into
/usr/local via make install doesn't work.
If anyone has compiled on Mandrake or RedHat 7.0 could you send me your
libs please?
