Oliver Gerardin implemented an XSLT pre-processor
for Transformiix. It analyzed the XSL source and
generated C++ code to call the appropriate
Transformiix support routines. This could then be
compiled and linked with the Transformiix library.
This gave a significant boost to the performance
of Transformiix, but not enough to make
Transformiix my first choice.
Has anyone investigated a similar project for
Sablotron ? For instance, walking the tree
that represents the XSL source and generating
C++ code ?
