Betty,
Do you have expat and sablotron installed ?

/usr/lib/libsablot.so.0.50.0
/usr/lib/libsablot.so.0

and

/usr/lib/libexpat.so.0
/usr/lib/libexpat.so.0.0.1

Expat needs to be installed for sablotron (the system library) to work.

Test that sablotron is working (sabcmd is an executable that it provides)

sabcmd ./slashdot.xsl ./news.xml > test.html

Then try getting the php-saplot reinstalled

Subject: [Sab] PHP and Sabletron and Linux Installation

I have an installation of PHP and MySql. This is working well.
I am trying to compile PHP with Sabletron support. My environment
is Redhat Linux 7.0
   php-4.0.4pl1
   Sablot-0.52

When I compile PHP with the following command:

compile --with-mysql --with-apxs --with-sablot

the compile goes fine. However, when I go to install it,
I get the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxmltok
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/harvey/php-4.0.4pl1'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Betty
