I reckon you'd be better off with Apache too BUT:
Peter, I know you mean well. This is possibly a good idea if you do not intend
to run this on a live webserver (with internet connection).
But it strikes me as odd that if you have trouble configuring a simple
installation then install a really complex one?
It is probably far too bloated for your needs and over complex.
If you didn't know what you were doing with a simple installation then security
for this would be a nightmare.
I'd advise "RTFM", at least then you will eventually "KNOW" what you are doing.
