Petr,
Gingerall could make an open source MLM (Mailing List Manager) which would
utilize at least Sablotron or maybe Charlie framework, too. This would give
both projects much greater interest from developers, webmasters eth. You
could still offer paid-for services and in-a-box solutions (I think I have
told you so before and you Gingerall allready does that).
Just some thoughts. Consider how Mailman (if I recall -
http://www.list.org) has gained acceptance and how much webmasters do need
great MLM for free which would could be installed simply and would offer web
access, autoresponders, various clients support (hey, why not WAP?) etc. I
haven't found such script/product yet. BTW I have recently received two
links from Practical DotCom Business (offering free e-book) which might be
useful for all - I haven't checked them yet -:
http://www.practicalselling.com/dl/mailmachine.zip (freeware Perl script -
"Mail Machine")
http://www.practicalselling.com/dl/listsuccess.zip (free e-book about lists)
