Along with the slot booking of appointment to avoid atrocities as experienced recently in Tamil Nadu <https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/tamil-nadu/2025/Feb/05/tamil-nadu-misguided-by-officers-pwd-travels-200-km-in-two-days-for-certificate-that-was-not-necessary> and a QR code disability certificate that leads to a masked verification of UDID profile on swavlamban website, this could reduce arbitrary assessments by forcing recording of actual scores / measurements history in case of future dispute. The assessment guidelines <https://disabilityrightsallianceindia.wordpress.com/disability-assessment-guidelines-in-india/> are very ready reckoner like with tables and calculations. Whether one agrees with this form of assessment or not, the process can be made more efficient. (Also just wanted to remind that while sorting this certification business out, the mental illness errors also need to be rectified.
