Der Wiener Wissenschafts-, Forschungs- und Technologiefonds (WWTF)
hat soeben seinen neuesten Call veröffentlicht. Mit dem
Art(s)&Sciences Call 2009 wurde die zweite Ausschreibung im Rahmen
des "Wiener Impulsprogramm für Geistes-, Sozial- und
Kulturwissenschaften" gestartet. Diese Ausschreibung wird aus Mitteln
der Stadt Wien dotiert.
Im Zentrum der Art(s)&Sciences Ausschreibung 2009 stehen erneut
Vorhaben, die an der Schnittstelle von Wissenschaft und Kunst
angesiedelt sind; disziplinenübergreifende Kooperationen und
Interaktionen zwischen ForscherInnen und KünstlerInnen und/oder
Institutionen aus dem Kunst- und Kulturbereich werden besonders
ermutigt. Wir erwarten uns Vorhaben, in deren Zentrum eine
wissenschaftliche bzw. künstlerische Forschungsfrage steht, die
zugleich explorativ und methodisch fundiert bearbeitet wird.
Für den Call sind insgesamt 1,3 Mio. ¤ für Projektförderungen und
Fellowship Grants gewidmet. Details entnehmen Sie bitte den

Little Performance Residency 2009: Director's Cut!
Die Reihe Little Performance Residency bietet
Performance-Künstlern ein Forum, ihre Arbeit in Berlin zu entwickeln
und zu präsentieren.
ada lädt 2 Einzelkünstler oder Künstlergruppen in das Studio in der
Schönhauser Allee ein, eine etwa 25- bis 30-minütige Performance zu
einem von ada vorgegebenen Thema zu kreieren. ada stellt den
Künstlern Proberaum und Aufführungsort zur Verfügung, leistet
Unterstützung bei der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und im kreativen Prozess
(dramaturgische Beratung, Probenbesuche und Feedback).
Die Residenz mündet in drei Vorstellungen im ada Studio.
Wir sind offen sowohl für choreografierte Stücke als auch für
strukturierte Improvisationen und für alle Formen der
Performance-Kunst - Tanz, Musik, Video, Sprechtheater,
interdisziplinäre Zusammenschlüsse etc.
The Performance Residency Series offers international
performance artists a unique forum for creating and presenting work
in Berlin.
For each residency, ada invites 2 artists, or groups of artists,
into their studio home on Schönhauser Allee to create a short
performance piece (25 - 30 minutes) and deal with a subject set by
ada. The artists are given rehearsal and performance space,
promotion, and professional support for their creation process. The
residency culminates in 3 performance evenings at the ada
studio-theatre.
We are open to set choreography or improvisation, and all forms of
performance art - dance, music, video, spoken word, interdisciplinary
collaborations, etc.

Studio: 72 square meters
Bühne / Stage: 40 square meters
Ca. 50 Zuschauer pro Performance / Approximately 50 audience members
per performance
ada stellt für jeden Residenten / for each resident, ada offers:
- 2 Tänzer / 2 dancers
- 30 Stunden Proberaum / 60 hours rehearsal space
- den Aufführungsort für 3 Vorstellungen und einen Lichttechniker /
3 nights of performance space including a light technician
- 250 Euro Honorar pro Vorstellung / 250 Euros Honorarium
- Werbung / performance publicity
- Feedback während des Produktionsprozesses / feedback during
production process
- Video-Aufzeichnung der Vorstellung / video recording of performances
Und ada erwartet / and ada expects:
- ein 20- bis 30-minütiges Stück, präsentiert an 3 Abenden / the
creation of a 20 -30 minute piece, to be performed 3 nights
- aktive Mithilfe bei Auf- und Abbau vor und nach den Vorstellungen
/ assistance with theatre set-up and strike
- eine Generalprobe / general tech rehearsal
- Video oder DVD für das ada-Archiv / a video for ada archives

NGO IME is launching its 3rd edition of the "Water Tower" in Sofia,
as a working independent art center - presenting artistic urban
actions. We are inviting video and installation artists to
participate in June 2009.

As already build tradition and a symbol of the independent artistic
actions we present the next edition of the Water Tower - Sofia June
2009. We are pleased to invite all kind of artists working in the
fields of video and installations to contribute to the citizen
initiative organized by IME - where we clean the area around the
Water tower and are able to show specific video and other
installations inside the Tower and in this particular occasion we
will be able to show works in few of the city galleries under the
same theme- Water Tower - independent art center - Sofia.
