Aufruf zur Teilnahme: 100+1=1+100 Ein Re-enactment der Performance STO von Tomislav Gotovac Liebe ChoreografInnen, TänzerInnen, PerformerInnen und Tanz-Interessierte! Das Tanzquartier Wien präsentiert am 30. Mai 2009 im Rahmen der Insel Nr. 9: Instruktionen verraten (kuratiert von Martina Hochmuth und Krassimira Kruschkova) die Uraufführung von 100+1=1+100 Ein Re-enactment der Performance STO von Tomislav Gotovac. STO war eine Sound-Aktion, die der charismatische Performer und Filmemacher Tomislav Gotovac 1979 in Zagreb realisierte. Im ersten Teil der Performance dirigierte und instruierte Gotovac 100 pfeifende Menschen; in Umkehrung übernahmen dann im zweiten Teil diese 100 Menschen die Leitung der Performance. Das Re-enactment dieser Aktion und ihrer inneliegenden Instruktionen bilden den Ausgangspunkt der Performance des kroatischen Regisseurs Oliver Frljić. Angesiedelt im Spannungsfeld von Original, Kopie und Zensur, verschreibt sich die Arbeit 100+1=1+100 der Erkundung jenes Potentials, das ein Verlassen bzw. Außer-Kraft-Setzen sozialer Vorschriften und Normen in sich birgt. Die Aufführung von 100+1=1+100 findet am 30. Mai um 20.00 h im Haupthof des Museumsquartier statt. Tomislav Gotovac wird anwesend sein. Teilnahmebedingungen Für das Re-enactment von STO sucht das Tanzquartier Wien 100 interessierte Personen jeden Alters. Einzige Voraussetzung sind die aktive Teilnahme am Probenprozess (Do, 28. und Fr, 29. Mai, ab 17.00 h bis max. 22.00 h) und die Anwesenheit bei der Premiere. Er entwickelte international zahlreiche Projekte und Performances und ist Redaktionsmitglied von Frakcija, einem Magazin für darstellende Kunst sowie Gründer von Highways Of Knowledge, einem Bildungsprojekt. Tomislav Gotovac ist Konzept- und Performancekünstler sowie experimenteller Filmemacher und lebt in Zagreb. Seine Filme behandeln in den frühen Sechzigerjahren sozialkritische Themen mit bisher unbekannter Radikalität. Ab Ende der Siebzigerjahre macht Gotovac Performances, die alltägliche private Handlungen in den öffentlichen Raum verlegen. EN Call for Participation 100+1=1+100 A Re-enactment of the Performance STO by Tomislav Gotovac Dear choreographers, dancers, performers and those interested in dance, On 30 May 2009, in the framework of Island No. 9 Giving (Up) Instructions (curated by Martina Hochmuth and Krassimira Kruschkova) the Tanzquartier Wien is presenting the première of 100+1=1+100 A Re-enactment of the Performance STO by Tomislav Gotovac. STO was a sound action that the charismatic performer and filmmaker Tomislav Gotovac realised in Zagreb in 1979. In the first part of the performance Gotovac directed and instructed 100 whistling people; as an inversion, then in the second part these 100 people took over the direction of the performance. The re-enactment of this action and the instructions involved in it form the starting point of the performance by the Croatian director Oliver Frljić. Based in the field of tension of original, copy and censorship, the work 100+1=1+100 devotes itself to exploring the potential of leaving or suspending social rules and norms. The performance of 100+1=1+100 takes place on 30 May at 20.00 in the main courtyard of the Museumsquartier. Tomislav Gotovac will be present. Conditions for participation For the re-enactment of STO the Tanzquartier Wien is looking for 100 interested people of every age. The only precondition is active participation in the rehearsal process (Thur. 28 and Fri. 29 May, from 17.00 up to max. 22.00) and presence at the première. The rehearsals will take place in English. Internationally, he has developed numerous projects and performances and is an editorial board member of Frakcija, a magazine for performing arts, as well as the founder of Highways Of Knowledge, an educational project. Tomislav Gotovac is a concept and performance artist and an experimental film maker and lives in Zagreb. His films deal with socially critical themes in the early 1960s with a previously unknown radicalism.
