The exhibition, Cities of Desire, is premised on a critique of the
frantic imaging politics and culturalisation of urban space, as well
as the neutralisation of political spaces through cultural means. It
showcases artistic and grassroots place-making tactics, bringing
together artists and architects who deal with the concept of place
from a wide variety of perspectives, considering both the making and
imagining of city spaces and their representative meanings.
