Eigentlich ist er aber ein Typ, der unerschütterlich macht, woran er glaubt. Hebenstreit David ist ein Mann teils umwerfender, teils absurder Ideen und Konzepte, und mit dem Album Escaping Dystopia hat er einige davon weitgehend im Alleingang gebündelt. Sir Tralalas Musik erklärt sich ohnehin kaum über die Annäherung an biografische Lebens oder Arbeitsumstände. Eine Musik bei der sich die Fragen nach Authentizität und Relevanz nicht mehr stellen weil die Kunst einfach so unpackbar gut ist. Er erweist sich zugleich als bester Songwriter und Vorzeigepoet der österreichischen Boheme. Sir Tralalas Musik fordert und belohnt die Hörer/innen Einer der originellsten heimischen Musiker. Diese Musik ist eine Herausforderung, sie quält jedes Mainstreamohr und ist so verquer. Hat er aber erst einmal ein Mikrofon vor sich, verwandelt sich dieses sonderbare Entlein mit dem kaum zufällig im selben Atemzug adelig und lächerlich tönenden Pseudonym in einen imposanten Schwan. Die Musik von Sir Tralala ist von einer infizierenden Sensibilität und Zärtlichkeit geprägt. Seine heisere und leicht nasale Stimme lädt jedes gesungene Wort mit emotionaler Intensität auf, sein Ringen um Klarheit bei gleichzeitigem Ankämpfen gegen banale Harmonien kann verstören, ebenso gut aber auch fesseln. Opulenter Irrsinn. Gilt mittlerweile als ausgezeichnete Marke exzessiv individuellen Musikgeschmacks. Einer der grossen glorreichen Exzentriker dieses Musiklandes. Bei allem Hang zum DIY kann und weiss er viel und ihm gelingen die Melodien die zwingend funktionieren. Alles nicht ganz einfach also - aber toll. * * _*INFO der Nino aus Wien*_*:* Der Nino aus Wien macht Anti-Folk. Ur-wienerischen Anti-Folk, um genau zu sein. Dass er dabei wie der frühe (und noch sehr ansprechende) Wolfgang Ambros oder auch André Heller klingt, ist nicht ganz ungewollt. Das mag den einen oder anderen verstören, der 21-Jährige zieht sein Ding aber souverän durch. "The Ocelot Show" ist kein einfaches Album, man muss sich darauf einlassen. Sie war ein Zeichen für die neu gefundene Freiheit und gleichzeitig eine Warnung vor einem uneingeschränkten neoliberalen Markt. DJ Kosmoprolet, eines der Gründungsmitglieder, begann bald als MC zu performen, während andere noch ihre alten Vinyls auflegten. Pornobone's Sister und Fabulous Fauch schlossen sich ihm kurz darauf an. Nach dem Kauf eines Computers und einiger alter russischer Musikprogramme machte das Trio selbst Musik, die bald als the Knowosibirsk Sound bekannt wurde. Noch im selben Jahr nannten sie sich KOSMOPROLET und ein Freund der Gruppe, Karl Kilian, schrieb das KOSMOPROLET Manifest, mit dem sie die Welt verändern wollen - nicht durch Revolution, sondern durch Subversion. Heute verbreiten KOSMOPROLET ihre Botschaft über ihren Kohlenminen-Sender "Radio KOSMOPROLET". A KOSMOPROLET is from the bottom of the heart a KOSMOPROLET.
