WAS IST KÜLTÜR GEMMA! ?
kültür gemma! ist ein Projekt zur Förderung der Stadtkultur in Wien und
von migrantischer Kunst- und Kulturproduktion. Im Kern steht eine
Ausschreibung von 4 Arbeitsstipendien für migrantische
Kulturproduzent_innen. Ziel ist es, erstens die Arbeit von Migrant_innen
am kulturellen Feld als Selbstverständlichkeit zu etablieren und
zweitens eine Umverteilung von Mitteln und eine Erweiterung von
Möglichkeiten zu initiieren, die dazu notwendig ist.
WIR VERGEBEN VIER ARBEITSSTIPENDIEN FÜR EIN JAHR
Für die einjährigen Arbeitsstipendien können sich Kandidat_innen aus
allen Bereichen von Kunst und Kultur mit einem konkreten Arbeitsvorhaben
bei der aktuellen Ausschreibung bewerben. Die Ausschreibung richtet sich
an junge Kulturproduzent_innen, die sich selbst als migrantisch,
Schwarz, Person of Color, definieren, ohne Vorgaben zu den
Herkunftsländern, Nationalitäten oder ähnliches. kültür gemma! versteht
Migrant_in als politischen Begriff und als Selbstbezeichnung eines
"oppositionellen Standorts" innerhalb einer Mehrheitsgesellschaft.
WAS IST EINZUREICHEN?
Interessierte können zur Einreichung aus drei Möglichkeiten wählen:

ein maximal 2-seitiges schriftliches Konzept
*
eine Audio-Datei (Länge 5 Minuten)
*
eine Video-Datei (Länge 5 Minuten)
+
*
eine maximal 1-seitige Biografie
*
(maximal 3 Bilder, Skizzen, Audio-Dateien etc. können beigelegt werden)

WHAT IS KÜLTÜR GEMMA!?
kültür gemma! is a project to promote city culture in Vienna as well as
migrant art and cultural production. The core of the project is a call
for proposals for four working grants for migrant cultural producers.
The aim is firstly, to establish the work by migrants in the field of
culture and secondly, to initiate a redistribution of means and an
expansion of possibilities, which is a prerequisite for these aims.
FOUR WORKING GRANTS FOR ONE YEAR
With the current call for proposals, candidates from all sections of art
and culture are invited to apply with a concrete work proposal for the
one-year working grants. The call for proposals is directed to young
cultural producers who define themselves as migrants, Black, Person of
Color without specifications regarding countries of origin,
nationalities or the like. kültür gemma! views the term migrant as a
political concept and as the self-designation of an "oppositional
position" within a majority society.
WHAT IS TO BE SUBMITTED?
Interested persons can choose to submit their project idea from three
options:

a two-page written concept
*
a video file (length 5 minutes)
*
an audio file (length 5 minutes)

*
a biography (one page maximum)
*
(a maximum of three images, sketches, etc. can be included.)
