Ok, after reinstalling sage-4.1.1 again from scratch (before I did an update),
it now works as well!

I am still having the trouble with the strange labeling of the E7 Dynkin
nodes. For Brant they also appear the same way as for me, so perhaps it
is a problem of being at Davis??
